Sunset Classical Concert with the Michiana Brass Quintet

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to experience a peaceful sunset classical concert at the Gabis Arboretum.

The Michiana Brass Quintet will provide a variety of music, from Bach to Gershwin; ragtime, showtunes, folk songs, as well as traditional brass quintet literature. This group of performer/educators, heavily influenced by the legendary Canadian Brass, aims to provide music for all to enjoy!

Musicians include:

  • Charles Steck (Trumpet)
  • Jay Crouch (Trumpet)
  • Bill Browne (Horn)
  • Gary Cooper (Trombone)
  • Gary Kurtis (Tuba)
  • Guest artists include soprano Anne Marie Bice of Valparaiso University and percussionist Jefferey Brown of Valparaiso University.

Performance runs from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. Food & Beverage vendors will be available.
