Join the coaching staff and players of Purdue University Northwest Softball for a Fall Skills Camp designed specifically for softball players looking to develop their skills, gain valuable instruction, and showcase their abilities in a collegiate environment. This camp is a two-part clinic for softball players in grades 7-12, where campers will get more in-depth drills and instruction within defensive and offensive parts of the game.
Clinic I - 10:00am - 11:30am is devoted to Pitchers and Catchers, beginning with a dynamic warm-up, campers will then spend approximately 45-minutes working drills in their specific position group. In the final 30 minutes, Pitchers and Catchers will come together to be evaluated and instructed.
Clinic II - 12:00pm - 3:30pm will begin with a dynamic warmup, then move into hitting and baserunning for approximately 75 minutes. The remaining time will include infield and outfield defensive work, such as throwing, position-specific drills, and full-field reps.
Equipment Needed: Bat, Helmet, Glove, Turf Shoes/Molded Cleats (No Metal Cleats Allowed), Catcher's equipment (if needed), and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.
You will receive a link in your confirmation email that needs to be completed by October 21st for participation in our camp.
